Please tell me a bit about yourself
Following my graduation, I have spent the last three years recruiting for the American energy market. I specialise in EPC, Refining and Chemical Manufacturing, in and around Greater Houston. I really enjoy the culture of the States, where the consultative guidance of a recruitment consultant is valued. There is a huge energy market in North America, which offers so many opportunities for clients, contractors and recruiters!
What is your role and what do you do
I am a Senior Recruiter specialising in the North American energy, this includes; refineries, Petrochemical, LNG, and EPC. Geographically, most of the roles are located on the Gulf Coast but I recruit across the whole of the US. I handle roles ranging from graduate engineers to senior leadership.
What do you enjoy most about working with Applica?
In addition to working in the US market, I really value the expertise of the team here who technically understand the market and the life cycle of a project.
Having a deep technical understanding of the projects allows us to headhunt suitable candidates swiftly.
I also feel that I can make a real difference at Applica and that I am not just another employee here.

Tell me something not many people know about you
I graduated from university with a degree in Law and had intended to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
