Please tell me about yourself
I'm originally from Perth, Australia.
I’ve had a varied career. For most of my adult life I was a Professional Rugby player.
Following the successful completion of a rugby academy when I was 16, I was lucky enough to play professional rugby for 14 years in Australia, Canada and the UK.
In 2019 I retired as a professional athlete and opened the Jacora coffee company which I enjoyed but realising that my true passion remained in Rugby, I joined Salford Red Devils Rugby league club as the player welfare/education manager & Coach, this then led to working in recruitment as a business executive for culture & wellbeing. Which I have to say is my new passion!
What is your role and what do you do?
I am the commercial manager for the US. Currently I’m based in UK with the aim of relocating to Applica’s US office in Houston.
My goal is to play a pivotal role in driving business growth, managing client relationships and to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of recruitment services in the US.
Why did you choose to work with Applica?
I’d have to say Matt and the wider team.
Applica is a place where I can make a difference and progress. There is so much opportunity.
Tell me something not many people know about you
My left leg is 2cm higher my right leg!
