Please tell me a little bit about yourself
I’ve lived in Manchester for the past 5 years and love the place!
My career has been varied and includes owning my own business, working for British Airways and Louis Vuitton, before joining the world of energy recruitment, where I have worked for the last couple of years. I’m now really happy to be joining Applica as a senior recruitment consultant.
Why did you choose to work with Applica
The team at Applica surprised me at every point of the interview stage, they were really attentive and genuinely interested in me and where I want to take my career. It was obvious from the start that the they really care about their staff, this really stood out to me and is something that I wanted to be a part of.
What do you believe sets Applica apart for candidates and contractors?
The team genuinely cares for its candidates and contractors. The company is unique in that it can offer world class global opportunities to its candidates and contractors whilst treating them as individuals and genuinely meet their needs.
This is achieved by retaining its core staff who are highly trained and have built up relationships with candidates and contractors, who know that they will receive a consistent high level of service from the team at Applica.
What is the best part of your role
I really enjoy helping individuals to progress their career and in fact their life. I like being able to get the best deal and fit for them, it makes the candidate happy and the client happy. This is why working at Applica is a great fit for me as we both focus on quality.
What are the benefits of working in a global company?
Applica is working on some of the biggest energy projects in the world which means the opportunities available are immense. To be a part of this is incredibly exciting and satisfying as it allows me to present to world class roles to my candidates.
Finally tell me something not many people know about you
My blood is Ro+ so this means I can treat someone that has stickle cell disease.
